Safe to Briks for showing me this shit...

Guilty Simpson & Madlib are..... OJ Simpson

This looks exciting. Guilty Simpson is a huge favourite of everyone at Pepamill, mainly for his carefully crafted romantic raps he writes for his bitches. He's now teamed up with Madlib to create the crew OJ Simpson, here's some press...

"The charisma that Detroit’s heavy hitting MC Guilty Simpson and the Los Angeles based Beat Konducta Madlib share is undeniable. A string of songs going back to Guilty’s first appearance on wax (Jaylib’s “Strapped”) testify to a musical kinship that is rare in today’s rapper-as-an-accessory marketplace. To us, Guilty over a Madlib beat is like hearing Guru over Premier circa Daily Operation, or CL over Pete around the time they recorded “Straighten It Out.” Some times, a rapper and a producer just work well together.

The two together making OJ Simpson, Madlib (Otis Jackson) and Guilty Simpson. OJ Simpson is the name of the album. No, you won’t hear Guilty make any references to bloody gloves. No, you won’t catch Madlib driving a bronco. These are some 14 hard hitting, straight from the gutter hip hop tracks featuring Guilty’s inimitable baritone and a couple guest appearances (Elzhi, Strong Arm Steady). Some cuts by J.Rocc. And a whole bunch of attitude. This is one of our favorite projects in a while.

We’re releasing this teaser single – the title track and the needs-nothing-more-than-the-title verbal onslaight that is “Coroner’s Music” - to remind you of the hip hop you’ve missed. The album drops this fall."

Ralph Dog ft. Ceez, Craig G & Blaq Poet - Go 4 Broke

At this point in time I haven't got a clue who Ralph Dog is, but i'm liking this track. Joined by the legendary Craig G and long-time mill fave Blaq Poet, this is good old fashioned hip hop. I'm particularly lovin' the little breakdowns and the R-R-R-R-Ralph Dog, R-R-R-R-Ralph Dog bit before he spits.

Charly Black - Wining Liad

Anyone who was a fan of 'Buddy' should be feelin' this cut too. No gimmicks, just pure dancehall fire. This track should only be played in the company of women, preferably women that look like Natalie Storm!

Charly Black - Wining Liad

Busta Rhymes ft. Mavado & Bounty Killer - Keel Dem (Remix)

Bussa Buss continues his bashmentalist escapades, this time joined by Pepamill fave Mavado & seasoned vet Bounty Killer. There's a lot of foul language on this one so don't let your mum download it.

Uptown - Dope On Plastic

'Dope On Plastic' by Uptown was one of my favorite records for ages. I remember running home from the train station like the Hovis boy the day I bought it, eager to chuck it on my £3.50 half-wooden deck i'd bought from a car boot sale.

When I saw this over at BTF blog I had to pass it on to you lucky millers in all it's glory, the whole vinyl single, dubs 'n' all.

01.- dope on plastic-vocal
02.- dope on plastic-plastipella
03.- it's my turn-vocal
04.- it's my turn-acapella
05.- dope on plastic-dubstramental

Large Professor - Queens Lounge (CDQ)

At some point, every rapper and his mum bangs on about the place where he lives or grew up. This particular lament is from Large Pro aka Extra P and has been around for a while as a very poor quality rip. Now thanks to you can listen in glorious digi-quality as 'The Live Guy With Glasses' gets all soppy about the section of NYC he was dragged up in.

Large Professor - Queens Lounge (CDQ)

Bishop Lamont ft. Xzibit - Hallelujah

Xzibit stops riding his chopper bicycle for long enough to get his hair platted down again and join Bishop Lamont on this Dr Dre produced, Roman Catholic-esque banger.
