88 Keys ft. XV & Izza Kizza - Handcuff 'Em
This geezer XV is doin one of those gimmicky promo things where he's putting out a track every day (and maybe every night too, judging by the title of the gimmick) for 40 days as part of his '40 Days & 40 Nights' thangdango.
This track has 88 Keys on the boards which is the real reason it made it onto Da 'Mill, well, that and the artwork.
88 Keys ft. XV & Izza Kizza - Handcuff 'Em
Brand New, Old, Q-Tip ft. D'Angelo...
Right, what you see above is DEFINITELY the artwork for Q-Tips's forthcoming LP 'The Renaissance'. I've also got a track for you to check out but thats where thhe confusion starts.
At first I read that it WAS from the new LP, then I heard it was from the promo version thats been knocking about for aaaaaages. I could simply draw for my vinyl of the 'old' promo and find out but i'm far too lazy for that so instead i'll take peoples word that it is, in fact, OLD.
Good news is that the newer version that IS to be featured on the NEW version of 'The Renaissance' is by all accounts totally neon.

DOOBIE HOWSERS PUGILISM ISM #1
For those of you nerks who never heard (yah hurd?) of this loco.. illegal street racing.. cigar smoking.. super kestrel swigging pugilist. Mayorga was born and bred in the streets of Managua, Nicuragua "I come from a country where everything is war," Mayorga said. "Even the women are tough. In Nicaragua, women give birth wherever-in the middle of the street, in the countryside-with no medical attention". A former Welterweight champion.. the best way to describe his style; 'I don't wanna see any Jackie Chan bollox, I wanna see some windmilling in!!' i.e.
After dealing a beat down Mayorga likes to light up mayn;
He's got to be one of the funniest trash talkers in boxing (special mention goes to Mike Tyson eating Lennox non existent kids and telling a reporter he's going to fuck him in the arse? no homo?) The soundbites from press conferences are classic and the footage is well worth a watch just to see the rise he gets out of feelingcatchers. Some of my favourites:
"You are not going to lay me down, you will lay your wife down next to me, i'll be the step-dad to your kids after this fight."
“If he wants to come out running, I’m going to give him a pink skirt and some pink skates so he can just go around the ring like a little Barbie.”
"I am going to carry a 14 pound pig named Vargas into the ring. Vargas is nothing more than a pig that is all that he is, you see this fat girl in this photo? This the fat girl I am going to knock out. I would like to introduce her to you today. She is Fernando Vargas."
“I have been sparring with live chickens as they emulate ‘chicken’ De La Hoya best. They run just like he does. Most people don’t understand that of all the fighters in boxing, Oscar is the one I like least. He’s a pretty boy and it makes me want to defeat him."
Mayorga's plus points; iron chin/unpredictable/not right in the head ...his iron chin helps him out if he decides to do this;
(an example of what can happen if you ain't got an iron chin and you do the same below)
I think we all have a bit of Mayorga about us....
Jumpjets Nasty Birds
I have seen some of these things do the nasty in places you would not believe..dont get me wrong I love a good ho but there is a difference between a good ho and a nasty jumpjet.
I have encountered one jumpjet on another site she is called skruface she has sent some pictures of her splurged rat..take a look…..
A jumpjet is a grade A hotdog warta producer, they write in text speak, is common as fuck, dumber than Jade Goofy and the only thing she can cook is pot noodle..sadly these types of fluff normally have kids, which makes you glad we have children in need and Jamie Oliver.
I m a grown ass man like my fellow dudes at the Pepamill so we don’t deal with these skets we had good old fasion hoes we dealt with..now these young dudes have these new breads of jumpjets to deal with good luck my young dudes I feel for you..Hoes just aint like they used to be.

Evil Ed & Conspicuous ft. Cobane - Time After Time
AT LAST!.. I've been wanting to promote some UK hip hop on here for ages but for whatever reason most of the 'labels' in the UK don't want Da Pepamill to promo their shit on the internet... hmmmm.
The same can't be said for Ottomanelf Music who gave us this new video to slap up for your enjoyment. 'Time After Time' is from the Evil Ed & Conspicuous LP 'The Get Together', out on 6th October, so make like a Liverpool fan and go kop.

PPP - Shotgun (Waajeed's Pinky Remix)
A dope remix of Platinum Pied Pipers & Dilla’s classic track 'Shotgun'. Given a shiney new paint job by Waajeed and a previously unreleased section of vocal Dilla-ish.
Featured on PPP’s forthcoming Abundance Mixtape, featuring Waajeed remixing shed loads of old PPP material as well as some brand new PPP snax. Abundance, the album, should be splattered all over good music shops from Jan '09.
Pat's Fun House #2
Ah, Amsterdam, the city that never sleeps except when it gets too fucked up and ends up paying €50 to sleep with a 17 year old. I have a real love/hate relationship with this city, thanks in part to the dutch way of life, but also thanks to the fact that I've been visiting the city for work for at least 1 month a year for the last 11 years, in addition to weekend breaks and stag parties, giving me a real weary sense of the novelty wearing off. Plus the dutch are a fucking crazy race. No customer service skills whatsoever, stupid laws whereby a lunatic can sideswipe your car on the motorway and you have to pull over to give him your insurance details despite the fact that the guy is obviously completely dangerously insane, and a general workforce so slow you wonder that if the country was not part of Europe would it simply curl up and die. But i still love them, like a kid brother with downs.
These days the Dam is a lot different to the nihlistic Adult Disneyland of years past. First of all the smoking ban has had a HUGE impact on the coffeeshops and bars. The law states that no tobacco should be smoked indoors (just like UK) except in coffeshops where they've set up "smoking zones" where people who like to mix baccy in with their weed (tourists) can smoke in glass, sealed rooms with huge extractor fans buzzing away. It is about as far removed from the chilled out relaxed vibe Amsterdam coffeeshops used to offer as you can get. If you smoke pure spliffs, you can still do so outside of these smoking zones with the owners permission. But hardly anyone does, so when I did this year I was alone and bored. In addition, working laws have restricted how the ho's work down in the red light so there's way less on display down there for the window shopper, and the credit crunch has forced prices up for the more proactive perverts amongst us. At least the Cassa Rosso's "Microwave Fanny" is still going strong, just watch your step: i put my air force 1 in a puddle of someone else's spunk last year.
But anyway, that ain't me. These days, I prefer to bounce through the nearest coffeeshop to pick up a couple of weeks supply and then smoke elsewhere. I don't fuck anything I have to pay, so I tend to spend my time in Amsterdam in some more Grown Man estabilishments. Here's my Top 5:
5. Zebra Lounge. You may need local Dutch accompanyment to get you in here as they don't like tourists, but it's worth the effort. Fucking hot to def chicks, decent music and swanky decor with drinks prices to match ensure there's not a British stag party in sight.
4. Suzi Wong's. Just outside of the touristy Leidseplein area is this trendy cocktail bar. I like it's oriental stylings and bamboo jungle, and the house cocktails are delicious and well presented. The music was a bit trendy-lounge-house-by-numbers but still, it was inobtrusive and me and the group of friends I was with could chill back and chat.
3. Boom! Chicago. A comedy club in Leidseplein, these guys run daily shows of their Who's Line Is It Anyway style improv. Amazingly funny and up-to-the-minute relevent, this mix of US and NL comics are neon to the heart. Beer by the pitcher, food and little football goals in the urinal for you to piss into complete the night.
2. Houten Klaas. A little drive south outside of Amsterdam down the A4 will bring you to Badhoevedorp, a tiny suburb that features two fantastic restaurants. One of which is this brasserie. I had a nigh on perfect vegetable soup to start, a fresh sea food platter for my main followed by this crepe/ice cream/brandy desert that was the food equivilent of fucking Megan Fox. In a word: dope.
1. Planet Rock. Don't hate, this little heavy metal bar is my favourite place in the Dam now that Fat Beats with it's fantastic downstairs instores is gone. Located just outside the Red Light District this place is tiny but packs a punch by way of the loudest/clearest soundsystem you'll find in a bar of this size anywhere in the world. Playing a selection of rock vids and live concert dvds on the multiple big screens, time your visit right to catch classic concerts played so loud, you'll feel like you were there. Indeed, I watched Metallica's S&M concert last week over a few beers, and then after a quick spliff break, watched AC/DC's Stiff Upper Lip tour. The beers are a round €5 a pint, the signed donated guitars are a good look and the staff are very very nice (fit).
So enjoy. Or get wasted on jagermeister and sour diesel and subsequently get pissed on by a dwarf in a gimp mask while a fat thai woman wanks you off. Like Black Sheep said, the choice is yours.

Pepamill Hero # 4.....Bill Hicks
Finding moderate mainstream success in the late 1980s and early '90s, Hicks tended to balance heady discussion of religion, politics and personal issues with more ribald material; he characterized his own performances as "Chomsky with dick jokes”.
Though he generally disliked television, he is said to have been a huge fan of the Simpsons and Krusty The Klowns persona as a counter-cultural stand-up comedian in the ninth season episode "Last Temptation of Krust" is a tribute to him.
In a 2005 poll to find The Comedian's Comedian, fellow comedians and comedy insiders voted Hicks amongst the "Top 20 Greatest Comedy Acts Ever" at #13. Likewise, in "Comedy Central Presents: 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time" (2004), Hicks was ranked at #19. In March 2007, Channel 4 (UK) ran a poll, "The Top 100 Stand-Up Comedians of All Time," in which Hicks was voted #6.
Devotees of Hicks have incorporated his words, image and attitude into their own creations. Because of audio sampling, fragments of Bill Hicks rants, diatribes, social criticisms and philosophies have found their way into many musical works, such as the live version of Super Furry Animals 'Man Don't Give A F*ck'. His influence on Tool is well documented; he 'appears' on the Fila Brazillia album Maim That Tune (1996) and on SPA’s self titled album SPA (1997), which are both dedicated to Hicks; the British band Radiohead's second album the bends (1995) is also dedicated to his memory (and to "Indigo"). The UK band Shack released an album in August 2003 quoting a Bill Hicks routine in the title - Here's Tom With the Weather. The album also included other Bill Hicks quotes in the liner notes. Deborah Driscoll of The Starfire Station wrote an ode to Bill Hicks entitled "Willy Melvin". Righteous Babe Records artist, Hamell On Trial also wrote a song entitled simply, "Bill Hicks". English breakbeat artist Adam Freeland sampled Revelations for his track "We Want Your Soul."
The British movie Human Traffic referred to him as the "late prophet Bill Hicks," and showed that the main character, Jip, liked to watch a bit of Hicks's stand-up before going out for a night to "remind me not to take life too seriously". Hicks even appears in the comic book Preacher, in which he is an important influence on the protagonist, Rev. Jesse Custer. His opening voice-over to the 1991 Revelations live show is also quoted in Preacher's last issue.
Billl hicks was loved in England and had a massive fan base who loved his humor and reality of the world we live in today, when Hicks burned the Star spangled banner on the letterman show TV he was outcast by many stations and the TV world.
On February 25, 2004, British MP Stephen Pound tabled an early day motion titled "Anniversary of the Death of Bill Hicks" (EDM 678 of the 2003-04 session), the text of which was as follows:
That this House notes with sadness the 10th anniversary of the death of Bill Hicks, on 26th February 1994, at the age of 32; recalls his assertion that his words would be a bullet in the heart of consumerism, capitalism and the American Dream; and mourns the passing of one of the few people who may be mentioned as being worth of inclusion with Lenny Bruce and George Carlin in any list of unflinching and painfully honest political philosophers.
Bill hicks Gold:
A sane man,one night stand, relentless, revalations, totally bill hicks and bill hicks live.

Benny Hill Riddim 2008
18th April 1992 was a sad day for Hill fans around the world. To mark the 16.5 year anniversary of his passing, the cream of contemporary bashment talent have come together to salute this global ambassador of cutting edge UK comedy.
Long time personal friend Elephant Man, whose talent was nurtured by Hill when they met in Jamaica in the late 80's, had this to say..
"“Benny is the artist that give me inspiration, mentor me on several decision and he was always there for me and bless me early in my career. I am sad that my friend is no longer here for us to eat and laugh together, or even have our birthdays together as we shared the same birth month, April.”
The 'Energy God’s close link to Benny is the reason why most of his performances include a tribute to the great comedian.
“I have a single out entitled ‘Slap Pon 'Ed Top’ where I also give tribute to Benny, while most people say that song is a bashing song it is not so, it's reality,”

This is how I feel, join me
Maybe i'm privileged to live on the 10th floor and have an uninterrupted view all the way to the horizon? but it's on days like this that I sit at the window and blast some shit, like this tune by The Isley Brothers.
To say they're one of my favourite acts doesn't mean that much these days because i've got so many favourite artists & songs, so it's probably safer to say that The Isleys are one of those groups that can really make me think, reflect, lament. So when it's been as nice as it is today / was yesterday, I just can't resist flinging the windows wide open, cranking the volume up to 11 and gettin my karaoke on.
So ladies & gentlemen, if you will, please join me by doing the same...

The Pepamills 5 hardest men... EVER
1# Guvnor aka Lenny Mclean.. A bare knuckle boxer and a top Doorman, this guy was a monster and would have a tear up with anyone. The guy was respected all around the underworld and later in life wrote a great Autobiography and had a role in Lock stock and two smoking barrels. McLean stated that he had been involved in between 2,000 to 3,000 fights in his life on the streets or "cobbles", in pubs and clubs and in the ring. Many consider him the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in the sphere of unlicensed boxing.
2# Paul Sykes..This guy was a wakefield hard man who served time in prison for punching screws and coppers along the way he learnt how to deal with sharks, in the 80s he was the hardest man in Britain. Paul came out of prison and took up boxing and had some brutal fights as well as writing a book and making a documentary for tv (see paul sykes post for a sample).
3# Micheal Gordon Peterson aka Charles Bronson…What can I say the guy has been in sole confinement for over a decade and has been around more nicks than group 4. Initially jailed in 1974 for robbery, Bronson's sentence has been repeatedly extended and he has spent only three months out of custody. He has served 28 years of his time in prison in solitary confinement due to a number of hostage situations, rooftop protests like strange ways, repeated attacks on prison staff and on other inmates. His dangerous behaviour has meant that he has spent time in over 120 different prisons. In 2000, he received a discretionary life sentence (with a three year tariff) for a hostage-taking incident. His appeal against this sentence was denied in 2004.In 1999 a special prison unit was set up for Bronson and two other violent prisoners from Woodhill (HM Prison), to reduce the risk they posed to staff and other prisoners. For the past ten years, Bronson has occupied himself by writing poetry, producing pieces of art and has published ten books. Bronson is still a "Category A" prisoner and is currently being held at Full Sutton high security prison as of May 2007.Bronson Remains a "Category A" prisoner where he is still in solitary confinement. He is due for a parole hearing in September 2008.
4# Hugh Hefner…come on you seen the birds that man has laying around the house? With all that badger around he must be hard 24-7. Fuck that the real number 4 is Freddy Foxxx aka Bumpy Knux.
5# Anderson “the spider” silva and B J “The prodigy” Penn,
Although known primarily for his skills in Muay Thai, Silva is also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which he earned in 2006 from Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira. Silva has beaten Rich Franklin twice taking his belt, he has also beaten The Ultimate Fighter 4 winner Travis Lutter, Nate Marquardt, Chris Lebbon…Silva defended his UFC Middleweight Championship against Pride FC Welterweight champion Dan Henderson at UFC 82 .Silva is undefeated in the UFC, having won all of his fights in two rounds or less.Silva won his UFC Light Heavyweight debut against James Irvin on July 19, 2008 he is hoping to do what BJ and Randy have done.
Jay Dee "B.J." Penn (born December 13, 1978 in Kailua, Hawaii is an American professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner who is currently the Ultimate Fighting Championship Lightweight Champion. He is the first American-born winner of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship (Mundial) in the black belt category (2000).Penn is also the former UFC welterweight champion and after winning the lightweight title at UFC 80, he became the second man (after Randy Couture) to win UFC titles in two different weight classes.

Ace Cafe Reunion '08
Due to a recent spillage we were already two men down before we even left. This ride has been going on for years and people come from all over Europe and sometimes further to take part. The main purpose of the ride is to commemorate when bikers (or Rockers as they were known) used to ride to Brighton to beat up that bloke from Eastenders who used to ride a moped, and his mates (or Mods as they used to be called, i think now they're reffered to as 'Ronsons').
There were too many people at The Ace to even consider queueing for a coffee so I enjoyed a cocktail cigarette while me and 'C' waited for Skill Boy to arrive on his Ninja. Soon after he arrived the engines started and the madness begun. Unfortunately for C he suffered an electrical fault just as he started his bike. After it cut out a few more times he gave up and we had to leave him gully sittin' in Stonebridge flicking his cut out switch on and off like Erick Sermon might if he ever lost enough weight to ride a bike.
So now three men down, Me and Skill Boy pushed on towards Brighton. We got there after weaving through and behaving past some 'easy to spot' speed traps and sitting in a few motorbike traffic jams (which is one of the most bizarre things to be in, it just doesnt seem right).
We made our way straight to the fish n chip joint to cop some flash fried fish. We yammed that on the beach then wrestled our bikes out of the masses of machinery and shot off to some pub called 'The Office' which has a lovely courtyrad at the back, perfect for another sly doob.
A pint of cider later, me and Skill Boy took to the road again and headed back to London. Sorry I didn't take any pics after our ciggy stop on the M25 but Skill Boy did so I might update this post with more pics later on.
You ALL needs to buy bikes now, then you can be like me, Saigon & Busy Signal.
Dave Courtney..Pepas night out
It was 3 hours plus of non stop jokes and quality one liners…Dave also had support in the form of James Mariner one time leader of the Chelsea headhunters who loved a bloody good tear up and was a bad bad man.
There was a lot of girls there I use the term loosely, this prompted me to ask my mate “what sort of bird goes to a night with Dave Courtney?” at which he replied…”That’s a fuckin good question…hahahha” this subject alone had the two of us lookin at the females in the room and pissing our selves and struggling to come up with an answer, most of them where rough as arseholes and looked like prisoners wives or extras from the Darts crowd…but there was one or two absolute stunners which added to our puzzle.
Any way if you havn’t been to see Dave Courtney it’s a must, I mean I m a fan but this would have anyone open who has a spare 12 quid, a couple of hours to kill and loves lines like..”Look her over there my missus…I gotta thank that Kunt cock sucker over there for getting me out tonight” , this is a must. This for me was like going to Mecca or running with bulls it was no let down and a proper good laugh and I got to see a legend in my world.
Anyway I m off to watch Hell to pay, in a bit you Nerks

El Grande Nalgas
Devin is one of those rappers that can do no wrong in my eyes. Here's another new 'joint' (rah ha ha) off Devin the Dude’s forthcoming LP 'Landing Gear' due 7th October. And for you non-Spanish speaking putos, “el grande nalgas” means “badonkadonk”.

MORE white van music...
I went on The Ace Cafe 'Brighton Burn Up' yesterday (pictures & report to follow) and on the way back I passed through the edge of essex. I turned into a road in Ilford and all of a sudden I got blocked in by a posse of 6000 white vans, all being driven by white van men.
Just as things started to get a bit hairy, someone who I can only presume is thier leader stepped forward and said "me name's Dan Cyl, darnt worry bart this lot, theyre ownly avvin a giggle" he then turned to the other 5999 white van men and said "Enuff a this bollots, release im immediatley, he's a reeyall maiyn, 'E may not be drivin a vaiyn, but deep darn he's a reeyall woit vaiyn maiyn!'
Thunderous applause erupted from every Bedford & Transit, Dan Cyl pulled me closer and whispered to me "take these 2 tunes an' fuckin' do one ya cunt'... so I did
