UFC announces Brock Lesnar vs Randy “the natural” Couture at UFC 91.November 15 2008. This is a major announcement for two reasons the first being Randy has been out of the octagon for a year and the second is he is facing former WWE star Brock Lesnar who has only had two fights in the UFC the first a loss to Frank Mir and his second a win over well rounded and respected Heath “The Texas Crazy Horse” Hearing. Randy will face Lesnar for the Belt with the winner facing the intrim champion early 09.
UFC president Dana White said “Randy is a legend in the UFC and is one of the fighters that helped build this sport”.Its no secret that Randy left because he wants to fight Fedor and Dana white has hinted at that fight taking place mid 09…we will see.
Kimbo v Shamrock??
This could be in the pipeline for Elite XCs Saturday night prime time show..Elite XC need to make some serious headway to compete with the mma powerhouse UFC.
Shogun v Rampage
This fight will take place on new years eve or the December UFC show, Rampage has had a bad few months and it will be good to see him smash some heads in again, he seems to have his head straight after his brush with the law and his Vegas episode.
Rampage is now training with the wolfslair in the UK with Michael “The Count” Bispings training camp.
Tito Ortiz could be on his way back to the UFC to…as soon as the Pepamill gets more updates it will hit you up.
